BioSab at Web Summit Lisbon: Spotlight on Female Innovation
From November 11 to 14, BioSab participated in Web Summit Lisbon, one of the world’s largest technology and innovation events. The startup was selected as part of the Brazilian delegation by ApexBrasil, in partnership with the Women Entrepreneurs Network (RME). This achievement underscored female leadership in entrepreneurship and reinforced the internationalization potential of Brazilian startups.
BioSab presented its dry yeast products, developed with national technology, along with new research initiatives underway. According to Sabrina Ciane, the company’s founder, attending Web Summit was a unique opportunity to share the startup’s vision of sustainability and innovation with a global audience.
“We held several productive meetings, connected with potential clients and partners from different countries, and validated our value proposition on a global stage. This was essential for accelerating our internationalization plan and expanding Brazil’s presence in the biotechnology sector,” highlights Sabrina.
In addition to showcasing at the event, BioSab participated in workshops and training sessions organized by ApexBrasil, which prepared the startups to maximize their networking and learning opportunities. The experience strengthened the company’s trajectory and SUPERA Parque’s ecosystem, proving that Brazilian innovation can compete on equal footing in the global market.

SUPERA Park: A Hub for Internationalization
The presence of BioSab, Kidopi, and Onkos at international events reaffirms SUPERA Park’s role as one of Brazil’s leading innovation and technology hubs. With over 20 years of operation, the park not only supports the development of startups but also encourages their connection to global markets, fostering the internationalization of Brazilian solutions.
“The support and initiatives of the International Office directly contribute to the activities of companies aiming to expand their businesses abroad,” said Henrique Reis, Coordinator of SUPERA Park’s International Office.
Partnerships with institutions such as ApexBrasil and FAPESP strengthen this journey, providing incubated companies with tools and opportunities to grow beyond national borders. In addition to increasing the visibility of startups, these events facilitate knowledge exchange and the creation of global collaborative networks.
The impact of these efforts goes beyond business. By promoting female entrepreneurship, as seen with BioSab, and advancing innovative solutions in health and biotechnology, SUPERA Parque contributes to a more inclusive ecosystem aligned with contemporary demands for sustainability and equity.
