JUNE 2025 – In Situ, Future Cow, and Onkos showcase innovative solutions at one of the world’s leading technology and entrepreneurship events
Three startups connected to SUPERA Innovation and Technology Park, based in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, have been selected to represent the country at Viva Technology 2025—one of the world’s largest innovation and technology events, held from June 11 to 14 in Paris, France.
In Situ, Future Cow, and Onkos, all either residents or graduates of the SUPERA Incubator, were chosen for their scientific excellence and the impact potential of their solutions in strategic sectors such as healthcare and agribusiness.
The presence of these startups highlights the international relevance of the Ribeirão Preto innovation ecosystem, and demonstrates SUPERA Park’s ability to foster global connections that drive business growth and support the internationalization of its resident companies.
Recognized as one of the largest tech and innovation trade shows in the world, Viva Technology brings together tech-based companies, investors, corporations, and research institutions annually in Paris. The 2025 edition includes official delegations from numerous countries, with a strong focus on emerging technologies and solutions to global challenges such as sustainability, healthcare, mobility, and digital transformation.
With over 2,500 exhibitors and the participation of global innovation leaders such as Zak Brown (CEO of McLaren Racing) and Vanessa Wyche (Director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center), the event offers a unique platform for visibility and networking. For the Brazilian startups, it is an opportunity to connect with the European ecosystem and showcase innovations with global impact potential.
Featured Brazilian Startups
In Situ
A graduate of the SUPERA Incubator, In Situ stands out in the biotechnology sector with its innovative 3D bioDressing for the treatment of chronic wounds and severe burns. Using a 3D printer, the startup creates custom-made dressings applied directly to the wound. The solution shortens healing time, enhances cellular adhesion, and prevents infections—revolutionizing care for complex wounds. At Viva Tech, the company is seeking partnerships and investors to scale production and access new markets, particularly in the European hospital sector.
Future Cow
Focused on food biotechnology, Future Cow is developing an innovative alternative to traditional milk production: dairy proteins without cows. Through genetic engineering and fermentation, the startup produces casein and other milk proteins identical to those found in bovine milk. The technology appeals to both vegan consumers and individuals with dietary restrictions, offering a sustainable and cruelty-free alternative. At Viva Tech, Future Cow aims to showcase its disruptive process and engage with international partners in the food industry.
Onkos
Onkos is one of the most prominent startups in the health sector at SUPERA Park. Specializing in molecular diagnostics for oncology, the company has developed a test capable of preventing unnecessary surgeries in patients with thyroid nodules. Backed by FAPESP-funded research and robust clinical validation, the solution is already in use in Brazil and shows significant clinical results. At Viva Tech, Onkos expects to expand connections with European hospitals and research centers to support the international validation of its technology.
SUPERA Park’s international presence
The participation of the three startups at the event was supported by FAPESP and aligns with the work of the International Office at SUPERA Park. Coordinated by Henrique Reis, the office works to promote the internationalization of resident companies, building bridges with innovation ecosystems across continents.
“Having three startups from our ecosystem at a global event like Viva Technology is a validation that what we are building here in Ribeirão Preto has value, impact, and competitive potential anywhere in the world,” says Henrique Reis.
Innovation rooted locally, with global impact
SUPERA Park’s involvement in international events like Viva Technology proves that innovation is not limited to major metropolitan hubs. Ribeirão Preto, through its talent, companies, and cohesive ecosystem, is gaining international recognition for the quality of its solutions.
Initiatives like this reinforce the mission of the Technology Park: transforming knowledge into solutions for society, promoting regional development with a global vision. By providing a high-tech environment, innovation support, and access to markets, SUPERA connects local talent to international growth opportunities.
